For the successful social integration and good relationship development of a child within a family, it is necessary to teach some moral behaviour skills. These include honesty, integrity, modesty, fair-mindedness, conscientiousness, and humanity. As a rule, children learn these skills by copying the behaviour of adults. But, considering that adults’ conduct is not always irreproachable, it is often useful to study them intentionally.
Honesty is one of the foundations of moral behaviour. It is connected with the conscience, aimed at compliance with social convention and it is the basis for people’s trust in each other. Honesty is important for the organisation of joint activities and is based on the necessities of the co-existence of people.
Integrity is exhibited in the inability to act dishonourably, immorally, and antisocially. A person of honour will never knowingly do anything wrong. The contrast between people of integrity and those with low morals is stark.
Modesty is a positive moral characteristic expressed by a respectful and well-mannered attitude towards other people. It is manifested in cooperative, continent behaviour and the ability to value the personal space of others. It is an essential quality which prevents the provocation of aggression and jealousy.
Fair-mindedness is a requirement of the consistency between a job and its remuneration, rights and obligations, etc. People need to be fair-minded to regulate relations between them and assess how good these relations are. Society respects fair-minded people and they usually have a high social status.
Conscientiousness means the complete fulfilment of social obligations. It suggests living by one’s conscience. Conscientiousness allows an individual to act advisedly and not be influenced by impulse. Conscientiousness inspires confidence and respect and it helps achieve success in one’s career and personal life. Conscientiousness enhances personal discipline and develops the ability to plan and efficiently manage time.
Humanity is manifested as love towards people and the acknowledgement of each person’s rights common to humankind. It makes a human life the primary value on earth. It is a requirement for people to positively interact with others and construct good relations. This reveals itself in compassion and sympathy. Humanity relieves people from anger, hatred, spite and dissatisfaction. Humanity infuses calmness and invites agreeableness.
Our training is held remotely, online, so no matter where you live, you can also access it. You will not have to travel to the Centres, you just need to get connect to the website. We have developed programs for individual sessions with a tutor as well as group training online. To illustrate the high quality of teaching, a test system for the assessment of students’ behavioural skills before and after the sessions has been developed. As a result, trust-based relations are formed between teachers and parents. The parents can see at any moment what their child is being taught and how his/her behaviour is changing.
