Teaching the Rules of Hygiene

Child Upbringing

Correct upbringing including teaching children clean habits is an important duty of parents. The child rearing programme has to include rules of oral care, regular taking bath or shower and an insistence on attention to the appearance and clothing. These in addition to the skills of behaviour in the society that are both healthy and safe.

Orderliness, neatness, tidiness

In addition to personal hygiene rules, children need behavioural skills that include models of moral conduct accepted by society including orderliness, neatness, and tidiness.

Teaching children hygiene at school online

Teaching clean habits in the Child Centre is conducted using an emotional training technique. The classes are held remotely, so no matter where you live, you can also access it. You will not have to travel to the Centres, you just need to connect to the website. We have developed programs for individual sessions with a tutor as well as online group training. To illustrate the high quality of teaching, a test system for the assessment of students’ behavioural skills before and after the sessions has been developed. As a result, trust-based relations are formed between teachers and parents. The parents can see at any moment what their child is being taught and how his/her behaviour is changing.

Take a test to assess your child’s level of orderliness and neatness

1. Does your child help you to clean the house?
2. Will your child practice hygiene himself/herself without your reminders?
3. Does your child often have stains on his/her clothes?
4. Does your child help to wash the dishes after meals?
5. Does your child brush his/her teeth every day?
6. Does your child often have tangled or untidy hair?
7. Does your child like to take a shower or go to the sauna?
8. Are things usually scattered in your child’s room?
9. Are there many untidy corrections and blots in your child’s school exercise-books?
10. Do you have to repeat requests many times before your child starts tidying up the house?
Total number of points: 0

From 1 to 10 points. Congratulations, your child is orderly and treats his/her things with care. You do not have to worry that these qualities have not been formed, your child already has them.

From 11 to 20 points. It seems that it is difficult for your child to keep things in order. But it is not a reason to despair, for any quality can be formed and developed. Our specialisation is helping to form the required qualities without quarrels and reproach. After the training your child will gradually want to keep things clean and maintain hygiene.
